Aquamarine is regarded as a beautiful gemstone. The blue color of aquamarine is really a godlike, as it would be the color belonging to the sky. Blue aquamarine is likewise the color of sea water. The name of aquamarine itself comes from the Latin words "aqua" means water and "mare" means sea. It does indeed! the blue color appears to have seized the lucid blue from the oceans. For thousands of years, the Blue Aquamarine has been widely known as the sailors' lucky stone.

This beautiful blue gemstone is almost as well-known as the others famous gemstone such as emerald, sapphire and ruby . Actually aquamarine is in connection with the emerald, because both are belonging to the beryl minerals. Aquamarine has good hardness about 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale. Also it has a wonderful shine lustre. That hardness causes it to become very tough and covers it towards a large extent from scratches.
